Leakage Detection Training

Wat-er-Store are determined to make our expertise directly available to our customers.

We are able to provide a unique opportunity for customers to improve their “hands on” leak detection skills whilst learning how to manage their water resources even more effectively. The result are improved efficiency, greater confidence and cost savings. We can provide on-site training for your employees so that they can learn first hand how to detect leakages, and then how to repair basic leakages. We can also provide your team with a ‘Leakage Repair Kit’,. Leak detection training includes correlation theory and practical sessions, localising and pinpointing techniques, and use of appropriate equipment. Specific modules in relation to noise logging, step testing and pipe tracing can also be included. Price for Course: £550 (suitable for up to 5 people)

Water Regulations Training Course (Ground Workers)

One day course with information and learning pack provided two to three weeks prior to course commencement. An overview and training session will be undertaken on the day and will discuss the content supplied within the information pack. To pass, there is a 30 minute assessment that consists of 24 multi-choice questions with a pass rate of 19 correct answers. This assessment is open book. On gaining the accreditation candidates will be invited to join the Water Industry Approved Plumbers Scheme (WIAPS), this membership is currently free of charge. Course to be held at your premises. Cost: £100 per person, minimum of 10 candidates (Maximum 12). Price for Course: £1000 (Minimum is 10 people)
